Today’s post was suppose to be 10 Photos on 10 Past the Hour, but today was not that exciting so I decided to switch it up a bit.
A typical day in my life won’t seem like much on paper but it’s the crap, pardon my language, that I deal with throughout the day. Whether it’s my kids or the many tasks that are ask of me at work, the day never seems to be smooth sailing. As I am sure any mom and/or teacher can relate to.
So my day starts out with getting up at 5:30, that’s if I don’t push the snooze button a couple times. My morning starts with getting myself ready and then the kids. I’ve find this to be the best routine because I don’t have to referee two boys while trying to get ready. Once we have breakfast we are out the door by 7:30. We then take the hour plus journey to school and work. We first drop off Kristian and then Kyle and I head to our school. Luckily, Kyle attends the school where I teach. The work day begins at about 8:45 and ends at 4:15. As I said before a lot happens in those seven and half hours…something different every day, which you teachers can attest to. But my day is not over then, I have to come home and attend to my duties as a mom which in my opinion is a much harder job than being a teacher. This is where my refereeing skills come to play. It never fails, the boys fight the most at this time of the day. Once the storm has passed dinner is prepared, everyone is fed and bathed, and finally put to bed. This is now me time. Time to catch up on DVR, surf the web, or just grade papers. I then go to bed and wake up to start it all over again. WOW! I’m tired just reading and writing this post!
