Have you ever wondered where does the time go? How have I spent my day? The answer is most likely something to the effect of, “I’ve spent most of my day at work and then came home to attend to the children and prepare dinner, and then if possible I had some ‘me’ time.” Where does time with your spouse or significant other fit in?
Thanks to my wonderful husband and parents I had an opportunity to spend some quality time with the hubby this weekend. Something that can easily be overlooked. Over the past ten years of marriage I have realized that having some one on one time with your significant other is crucial for a healthy relationship. It’s no doubt that you can get wrapped up in the day to day routines of working, taking care of the kids, maintaining your home, and finding time for yourself. Finding the time to be together as husband and wife can rejuvenate your relationship, at least that how I feel after our quality time. It’s true that we spent most of the time together talking about our boys, but we did so over some drinks and dinner…alone. So, my advice to you all….put the daily stress aside and find the opportunity to keep your relationship alive, it’s so worth it!
